Design Options Snap Fastener Caps

This turns a snap fastener into a fashionable design accessory

While the functionality of the snap fastener is determined by the eyelets and balls of the system, the snap fastener cap is of primary importance for the visual appearance. There are hardly any limits to the design possibilities of the snap fastener caps. However, the material and the manufacturing process determine the technical feasibility. Below you will find an overview of the main design options. An overview of our cap types and shapes can be found here.

Material-specific design options

In principle, there are almost no limits to the design possibilities of the snap fastener caps. The material and the manufacturing process determine the technical realization.

Example: Double Layer
BRASS

  • Embossing of logos and textures or both combined (Double Layer)
  • Galvanic finishing or lacquered surfaces (see separate color chart)
  • Material combinations with e.g. reflective foil (€€€)
  • Special effects on request

Example: Engraved and brushed round
STAINLESS STEEL

  • Embossing of logos and textures or both combined (Double Layer)
  • Galvanic finishing (see separate color chart)
  • PVD coating on request (€€€)

Example: Engraved and matt/shiny effect
PLASTIC

  • Embossing of logos or textures
  • Colouring of the plastic granulate (masterbatch) according to colour requirements such as RAL, Pantone or YKK
  • PVD coating on request (€€€)
  • matt/gloss effect
  • Tampon print

Example: breakthrough / cut-out
DIE-CAST/ZAMAC

  • Design of individual cap shapes and motifs, implants possible e.g. strass, reflective foils, injections (epoxy resin) etc.
  • Diamond cut optic / Diamond cut (€€€)
  • Breakthrough / Cut-Out
  • Galvanic finishing, lacquered surfaces
