EyeletSnap
Eyelet with snap function
The EyeletSnap combines the functions of a textile eyelet and snap button and offers exciting new application possibilities.
The system consists of eyelets made of brass and the functional parts of plastic. When the system is closed, the central opening provides a passage for cords, webbing, cables or similar. Alternatively, the handle of a handbag, for example, can be passed through the eyelet and fastened, thus also serving as a closure. For special applications, there is also a closed version of the textile eyelet available.
SYSTEM OVERVIEW
FUNCTIONALITY
The function of EyeletSnap is different from all other snap button systems: For the eyelet part, pre-punching of the base material is required. The perforation is reinforced by brass eyelets on the top and a plastic spring part on the bottom. The lower eyelet in turn connects to the ball part. In contrast to conventional textile eyelets, this gives the option of flexibly linking two eyelets together. In addition to the simple version, the eyelet cap is also available with open or closed calotte.
TECHNOLOGY
Similar to FlexFix® technology, a springy, elastic high-tech plastic is used for the functional parts. When the stud is pressed into the socket, it engages and can be opened. When closed, this connection can be hung up as desired, used as a passage for a wide variety of materials or for ventilation.
