The brass pronged ring system – Made in Germany

This is the smallest pronged ring snap from the KNIPPER™ series, which is particularly secure and gentle on the fabric thanks to its design. The five prongs anchor themselves in the fabric without damaging it. KNIPPER™ is particularly suitable for stretchy fabrics and knitted fabrics, such as those used for baby clothes, underwear and sportswear, but also for technical applications.

The flat look, low weight and smooth fastening offer a wide range of possibilities. The individual system components can be combined in different ways depending on the intended use. Also available in stainless steel for extreme requirements such as industrial laundry (see KNIPPER™ product code DUA 36 and FlexFix® KNIPPER™ product code DUP 3).

Function and advantages

The prongs of the pronged rings penetrate through the fabric into the socket and ring stud when attached. They anchor themselves securely in the fabric without damaging it.

When the ring stud is inserted, the individual radial spring elements of the socket are displaced outwards in the KNIPPER™ pronged ring snap system. The spring elements enclose the stud section comfortably and securely.

Unlike central riveting (e.g. S-Spring snap system), the pressure is distributed over the outer ring, resulting in a particularly secure fastening. With the open cap version or the pronged ring, the fabric remains visible.
