Ideal for industrial washing

Flat overall height ensures low mechanical stress

Workwear is usually washed industrially. In the drying process for laundry, dewatering presses are used that exert high mechanical pressure on the snap systems. This often leads to defects in the system itself, but also to wear and damage to the textiles.

FlexFix® Flat is now available as a snap system that can withstand most of this pressure. Because it is so extremely flat, the likelihood of damage to the textile is reduced.

The picture shows typical damage caused by conventional snap systems. The higher the structure of the snap system, the greater the likelihood of damage to the textile.

Discover the reversible function and variety of colors

FlexFix® Flat is also available with a reversible function, e.g. for button-out linings and detachable hoods. The low construction height is a particular advantage here.

The high-performance plastic of the stud component brings color into play. By combining galvanic finishing and colored plastic, the functional parts alone can achieve a completely new look.

Convincing technology

How to make the FlexFix® Flat extremely flat

The Flat system is part of the FlexFix® series. A flexible high-tech plastic is integrated into the system, which has spring-elastic properties and guarantees constant opening values.

The function of the FlexFix® Flat snap system differs from all other systems in two key characteristics:

1. Socket and stud connect to form one component:
Unlike conventional snap systems, where the stud part is connected to the socket and the installation height of the individual parts adds up, the FlexFix® Flat system combines the socket and stud into one part. This reduces the overall installation height by almost half!

2. FlexFix® directly on the stud
The FlexFix® component with high-tech plastic is not located on the socket, but on the stud of the system. The connection between the metal and plastic components is particularly stable and can withstand high mechanical loads. When the stud (spring component) is pressed into the socket, the plastic coating slides gently into the socket and locks into place. This fastener is just as easy to open again. FlexFix® Flat is patent pending.

All-in-one

All advantages combined in one system

The revolutionary innovation is the extremely flat shape of the FlexFix® Flat. But the new snap system offers further advantages: FlexFix® Flat also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of wearing comfort, durability and design.

COMFORT AND FUNCTION

The high wearing comfort is due to the very low weight on the one hand and the gentle opening and closing behavior of the FlexFix® Flat system on the other. The flat design also reduces the distance between the two textile surfaces when closing. As a result, the upper and lower sections close optimally, thus reducing views and wind penetration.

DURABILITY

The FlexFix® Flat fastening system is part of the FlexFix® series, which guarantees extremely high mechanical strength. This technology is characterized by dimensional stability, durability and constant opening values. Up to 50,000 opening and closing cycles can be carried out without any significant wear on the functional parts.

DESIGN

At the same time, FlexFix® Flat offers a wide range of design options for individual requirements. The colored plastic component of the stud allows you to add subtle color accents. Other design options, such as galvanization and embossing, turn every FlexFix® Flat system into an individual design highlight.
