Snaps that are industrially washed must meet high requirements. This includes the high mechanical stress caused by intermittent dewatering presses. The opening values must not change due to wear or degreasing. The two sizes FlexFix® product code DUP 4 and DUP 6 made of stainless steel are ideal for stronger and heavier fabrics and materials and can withstand intensive use over the long term.
The FlexFix® series guarantees excellent dimensional stability, with a spring-elastic and thermostable plastic core. The choice of stainless steel material eliminates the risk of an extreme increase in the opening values (cold welding) due to complete degreasing in the industrial wash.
This high level of durability, thermal stability and longevity also qualifies FlexFix® DUP 4 and DUP 6 for many other highly demanding areas and technical applications. Even salt water, cold and heat cannot affect the fastener. You are on the safe side with this FlexFix® variant made of stainless steel.
