Snaps today have to meet two requirements: optimal and secure functionality and attractive design. FlexFix® with the product codes DUP 7 and DUP 10 meets both requirements and sets fashionable design accents. The unique look scores particularly well with workwear, sports and leisure wear, jeanswear and leather goods.

The designer fastening system is part of the FlexFix® series, which guarantees extremely high mechanical strength. Dimensional stability, durability and constant opening values characterize this product. Up to 50,000 opening and closing cycles* can be carried out without any significant wear to the functional parts. There are also variants with different opening forces for different areas of application for convenient fastening.

Function and advantages

The principle of a snap system is defined by the functionality of the socket. In FlexFix® DUP 7 and DUP 10, a flexible high-tech plastic with spring-elastic properties is integrated into the socket.

This combination of metal calotte and plastic inlay is particularly stable and can withstand high mechanical loads. When the stud is pressed into the socket (spring part), the flexible plastic inlay expands so that the head of the stud snaps comfortably into place and is perfectly enclosed. This fastener is just as easy to open again.
